During my last trip to South Korea, I had the chance to visit Suncheon. It wasn’t originally part of my plan, but I’m really glad I made the stop.
One of the highlights was exploring Naganeupseong Folk Village. As a K-drama fan, it was fascinating to see a place that felt like stepping right into a historical drama scene.
Naganeupseong is a preserved walled town from the Joseon Dynasty. What’s interesting is that while it’s a popular tourist destination, many of the traditional houses are still lived in and have been updated with modern amenities.
This turned out to be one of those unplanned side trips that ended up being incredibly fulfilling.
If you’re in Busan and looking for a day trip outside the city, Suncheon is a great option.
There’s even a Suncheon day tour available via Klook (click here to check it out).
