Sapa was never on my original itinerary, but sometimes, the best travel moments are the ones you don’t plan. From misty mountains to golden rice terraces and the warmth of the ethnic villages, this place completely stole my heart.
Here’s a glimpse of my journey—sunsets from mountain peaks. Hope these photos inspire you to add this gem to your Vietnam itinerary!

This winter, I posted photos from our last trip to Nagano, and to my surprise, my shots of Togakushi Shrine went viral on social media!
I received so many messages asking how to get there from Nagano Station, so I figured—why not just write a blog post about it? If you’re planning to visit, here’s everything you need to know!
My First Time in Japan! Exploring Otaru & Sapporo in Winter Wonderland | Hokkaido Vlog Pt. 2
I still can’t believe my first trip to Japan was THIS magical! Traveling with Philippine Airlines and my blogger friends (who are now officially my travel besties ), we explored the stunning island of Hokkaido in December. And wow—Hokkaido did not disappoint! We arrived just after the first snowfall of the season, with temperatures below zero, and it was truly a winter wonderland.
It’s my first time in Japan, and I couldn't be happier to experience it with Philippine Airlines and some of my blogger friends (who are now officially real-life friends after this trip 🤗). For this adventure, we explored Noboribetsu, Niseko, Otaru, and Sapporo—each offering a different winter experience. Because this trip was so epic, I decided to split my vlog into two parts. In this first part, I’ll take you around Noboribetsu and Niseko, plus a sneak peek of our flight from Manila on Philippine Airlines’ new A321 Neo and what to expect when you land at New Chitose Airport.
Visiting Hokkaido in December, we expected a magical white paradise—and it did not disappoint! We arrived just a few days after the first snowstorm of the season, and the temperature stayed below zero most of the time. But despite the chill, the beauty of Hokkaido made it all worth it!

Another photo journal in Hokkaido. This time is for our last stop on this trip! SAPPORO!!
The capital of Hokkaido!
I think if I will choose to live outside of Tokyo, I will have to say Sapporo is a good contender. I love the sort of small yet big city vibes ( if you know what I am saying haha).
